Sunstone Villa wedding

This stunning Sunstone Villa wedding editorial was photographed in early spring in Santa Ynez, California. Nestled among the mountains of Santa Barbara County wine country, Sunstone Villa (as well as Sunstone Winery, located on the same estate property) is a gorgeous backdrop for wedding day inspiration!

Molly McCauley founded Make Pretty Workshops to inspire fellow wedding photographers to approach content creation a little differently (and in a more intimate setting!). Molly’s approach is so refreshing for its focus on small group size and how to get editorial-style results in “real life” examples on a couple’s wedding day.

Blending fashion and modern minimalism with the old-world architecture of Sunstone Villa was a masterful approach. The non-floral tablescape was so chic and inspiring. Photographing our beautiful model couple on the winding staircase was a dream! I always love working with Raven Reed and Breanna Jane, and it was such a delight to finally get to meet Erica Estrada, as well.

I can’t wait to be back in Santa Ynez next year for Bree and Blake’s Sunstone Villa wedding with Claire of Grit & Grace Events next spring!
