Summer wedding at Santa Barbara Historical Museum

Gabrielle & Tim met during their undergraduate years at University of California Santa Barbara, so hosting their wedding weekend in Santa Barbara just made sense!

They kicked off their weekend celebration with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony honoring the groom’s parents, followed by a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone.

The wedding at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum was designed and executed by Wild Heart Events. Gabrielle wore Freesia, the most stunning Monique Lhuillier gown, complemented by Pelino bridal heels and gold bird hair clips (honoring the memory of her mother).

The bride also carried a colorful bouquet of dahlias, garden roses, cosmos, clematis, and zinnias by Wild Muse Floral. Tim donned a custom tuxedo by Suit Supply and velvet loafers.

Downbeat Agency kept the custom pastel seafoam RCD dance floor packed all night long at this summery garden soiree. I didn’t want this day to end! Here are just a few of my favorite images.
