We opted to begin the session for Erika and Mitchell’s Santa Barbara engagement photos at East Beach; these beach babes love the water (and Mitch loves to surf!).
It just made sense to begin in Santa Barbara, where this lovely couple first met attending University of California. We then headed up the coast to the hills of Gaviota; the mustard was in full bloom from all the recent rain we’ve had in the area, and Erika and Mitch were so dreamy surrounded by all that yellow!
To wrap up our session, we headed to Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos. Recently acquired by Auberge, the updates to the property are stunning (while still preserving the historical elements of its 19th-century roots).
