Intimate Santa Barbara elopement

When it came time to plan their wedding, Jasmine and Javier decided to keep their vows intimate, opting for simplicity and a touch of Santa Barbara magic. The couple traveled from Nevada to say “I do” at the iconic Santa Barbara Courthouse, inviting only their parents to witness the ceremony.

Jasmine donned a modern gown by Galia Lahav, while Javier kept it classic in a black suit and bow tie. Before heading to the courthouse, the couple requested a few photos at their hotel, the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. It was a crisp, beautiful, quiet February morning along the coast!

After their civil ceremony, performed by the county clerk just outside the Hall of Records, J+J read personal vows to each other (cue the tears!). We took advantage of the picturesque grounds of the Santa Barbara Courthouse, then headed to the beautiful Douglas Preserve for a few more coastal photo ops before the couple rejoined their parents for a celebratory lunch.

Jasmine and Javier’s sweet, small celebration proves that all you need is love, a courthouse, and a few cherished hearts to mark such a special occasion.
