Molly and Max managed to choose the most perfect autumn day for their November wedding in Montecito. The weather was sunny, but not too warm, with a stunning, clear view of the ocean behind the ceremony.
The design by Erika of Array Creative was also a fabulous match for fall in California, infused with a colorful, playful palette of orange marigolds for the ceremony, bronze linens at reception, mismatched bridesmaid dresses, and rattan textures for cocktail hour.
This wedding was a little extra special because the bride, Molly, decided to surprise her now-husband Max with a shorter haircut during the reception! Max told Molly he thought her hair would look good a little shorter, so she enlisted the help of her hairdresser friend to chop her locks. Molly then changed out of her Katherine Tash gown into a dance floor-ready two-piece ensemble (complete with Prada loafers) and took to the dance floor to surprise Max (and all their friends and family!).
